Through this strategic agreement, Galeboe will distribute and support Binarii Labs’ patented solutions, BinariiDSP, BinariiDSM, and CyqurPRO, across South Africa and key African markets, including Botswana, Namibia, Kenya, Ghana, Nigeria, and Rwanda, with potential for broader expansion.
Partnership Initiation and Regional Expansion Strategy
The collaboration was initiated through EA Capital, Binarii Labs’ authorised distributor in Africa and the Middle East, along with advisors, Impact Settlement Capital, who identified Galeboe as a strong regional distributor with an established track record, to deliver regulation-ready data resilience technologies to both public and private sector clients.
Binarii Labs headquartered at NovaUCD in Dublin is an Enterprise Ireland client company.
Addressing Cybersecurity and Compliance Challenges in Africa
Cecil Thokoane, Managing Director, Galeboe Professional Services, said, “We are proud to align with Binarii Labs as a regional distributor. Their sovereign-first architecture based on fragmentation, encryption, and user-owned multi-storage locations, directly addresses the cybersecurity and compliance challenges our clients face. It’s a major leap forward in protecting critical information while enabling operational resilience. Importantly, Binarii Labs’ platforms are ISO 27001, SOC2, HIPAA, and NIST CSF 2.0 certified and compliant, giving our clients full confidence in their ability to meet evolving regulatory and data protection standards across Africa and beyond.”
Unique Zero-Trust Architecture of Binarii Labs Solutions
Ciarán McNamee, Co-Founder and Chief Business Development Officer, Binarii Labs, said, “This agreement with Galeboe represents a significant step forward in our African expansion strategy. Galeboe’s regional expertise and deep relationships across government and enterprise sectors will help to accelerate the adoption of Binarii Labs’ sovereign-by-design technologies.
Our solutions are uniquely designed to ensure that no complete data file is ever stored in any one of the user’s three chosen storage locations. In the event of a breach, any attacker would only access unusable, encrypted fragments, while the client retains uninterrupted access to their data via the remaining two locations. This represents a fundamentally different level of control, security, and resilience.”
Collaborative Strengths Driving African Cybersecurity Innovation
Ryan Aufrichtig, CEO and Founder, EA Capital, commented, “This agreement brings together complementary strengths, Galeboe’s delivery capabilities, Binarii Labs’ technology leadership, and EA Capital’s regulated Web2 and Web3 offering in the region. With rising demand for sovereign data security across Africa, we believe this collaboration is ideally positioned to serve governments, enterprises, and infrastructure providers navigating today’s complex threat and compliance landscape.”
Digital Transformation and Sovereign Data Solutions Across Africa
Doreen McKeown, Director, Sub-Saharan Africa, Enterprise Ireland, said, “Cybersecurity is a cornerstone of digital transformation, and this agreement between Binarii Labs and Galeboe Professional Services marks a key step in advancing secure, sovereign data solutions across Africa. Binarii Labs, an innovator in zero-trust cybersecurity, exemplifies the cutting-edge capabilities emerging from Ireland’s thriving tech ecosystem. It’s great to see an Irish and South African company partnering to support Africa’s bold progress toward resilient, regulation-ready digital infrastructure.”
This agreement comes at a time of increased regulatory scrutiny and demand for sovereign data control across the continent, driven by frameworks such as POPIA, GDPR, and NIS2.
