Following support from the government-backed Go-Succeed grant, the Northern Ireland-based company will expand its operations, plans to invest in cutting technology and create more products, Belfast News Letter reports.

Demanu Manufacturing and Design provides product development, full-scale manufacturing operations and manufacturing consultancy services to help bring customers product ideas into reality.

JB Dobbin, the founder, told Belfast News Letter: "The main benefits of the Go Succeed programme for me was the mentorship. Previously I didn’t have any marketing or finance experience and I needed to round out my skills on that.

“From that mentorship we were pointed in the direction of the Go Succeed grant which we’ve been successful in applying for. We’ve put that towards equipment to grow our business and increase our manufacturing capacity.

“At the start of a company’s journey they need as much advice as possible and Go Succeed were really helpful at supercharging my one-person team.”

Go Succeed is a go-to-source business advice company led by Northern Ireland's 11 councils. The firm helps entrepreneurs create business plans, provide funding, master classes, peer-networks and lay the foundations to get a business plan up and running. The scheme is funded by the UK government supported by the Levelling Up Fund.
