Freudenberg Medical is the largest employer in Leitrim and expects the new recruitment to increase existing staffing levels by over a third to 950 by 2026.
The new positions will focus on engineering, research development, manufacturing operations and support services.

The job announcement coincides with the opening of Freudenberg Medical's expanded facility in Leitrim, bringing the site footprint to 14,585 sq/m.
The company currently employs over 1,000 people in Ireland. It works in partnership with global medical device companies for electrophysiology, structural heart, and peripheral vascular therapies.
